     @stuartl The sticker refers to Best Buy, which would probably put mixed-endian dates on their stickers. 😊

     @nixCraft Interesting they assume you are using linux but not relying on NTP which hiccups in 2036.

     Although the time protocol would presumably be easier to migrate than the OS structures.

     Aha, ok, so NTP has a 32-bit unsigned number of seconds from 1900 instead of a signed number of seconds from 1970.

     ntp.org/reflib/y2k/
