     @ryanhoulihan The network effect is very powerful, people don't want to leave a community they sometimes built for years and that's particularly when they're lonely/isolated in real life

     However Twitter / X is bleeding users, there's no doubt about that so it's a gradual, slow-paced decline and it's not like the app just kept its strength and relevance. The fact X is doing far worse in terms of mobile downloads in most countries compared to last year is pretty telling

     @ryanhoulihan I think this too. BUT also it’s probably still where I get the most engagement, circles on masto & bluesky still quite small for me.

     @ryanhoulihan Whatever, I would not know as I left twitter about 7 years ago over the amount of nazis and fascists on the site. Now I understand it has been purchased by a nazi. Why would anyone still be there???
