NAS has below 10,000 users
NA pod has about 1 million listeners
so NAS is less than 1% of NA audience, as some NAS users don’t listen
how can 1% be hurting NA pod?

@Zennblack @CSB eriner does a regular (at least yearly I think) purge of inactives. Then those slots are filled back up to the 10k limit. So I'd guess active accounts is probably near 90%. However, I'd guess that 90% of _those_ are "actively lurking" as opposed to "actively posting", so it feels like a smaller community than it actually is because a good percent are just observing without interacting
@CSB
There must be a techy way to find out?
@CSB
Do you know about how many users are active on NAS?
@Zennblack no idea, just guessing
@mh exactly
@mh @CSB
Thank you! I was just curious. I mostly follow NAS accounts but not exclusively.
@mh @Zennblack @CSB first I used it mainly for the notes-bot. Nice and well done collection. Every ither day the sources. Very nice. Some went out to other channels.
Maybe a lot of new arrivals do the same. BUT if I look at the main server public timeline, I begin to think some use it purely as a activitypub-endpoint ans never listen to the show.
