   As dumb or cliche as it sounds. I feel like everyone abandoning NAS can have it's upsides. We can find new servers, with new features, and new networks. Being stuck in the same corner of the internet is bad for your health. Find new people, hear new ideas. You can still bring your old friends with you by exporting/importing. But the fediverse is better overall when we are not all isolated.
