I "tested" the Anker Q45 and a few others in the same price range, but went for Edifier WH950NB. Mic quality was one of my (admittedly subjective) priorities. Plus ANC and battery life.

But hands down the best in term s of mic/sound were Audeze Maxwell, imo. A bulky gaming headset, though.

@lukem Seriously- check out the Anker Space Q45 or Space One. I use them on noisy car journeys and in a warehouse and people don’t even hear any of the background noise, and say how crisp my voice is

      Dear #lazyweb,

Does any of you use any over-ear headphones with an exceptionally good built-in mic?

I'm okay to pay an arm and leg but they should be comfortable and offer servicable voice quality for long video calls. Can be wired. Preferably no software component needed, plain ol' mini-jack plug desirable.

I'm thinking about downgrading from Blue Yeti to declutter my desk but I don't want to compromise too much on mic quality. It makes tons of difference to me when others use good mics.
