     @riker17 no, but I'll try to do it as quickly as I'm able after I look into ways to do it seamlessly. It may or may not be possible, but regardless I'll try to do it in a way that gives plenty of time and doesn't leave anyone out in the cold.

     @dcc @riker17 yeah but it's complicated because pleroma doesn't de-dupe references, so if you redirect then you end up with zombie accounts on remote servers: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/5774

     @eriner @dcc @riker17 we have and can migrate instances. we've proven it can happen. me pete and sjw logged into his closet server. i dont think mastodon is as forgiving though

     @graf @dcc @riker17 honestly Mastodon's scaling has been very good to me, and I'm super familiar with how to (and have made scripts for) 90% of what needs to be done. So unless there is a really compelling reason to switch, at this point I'm going to stick to Mastodon.

     @graf @eriner @dcc @riker17 Yeah, happy to help. (A lot of my performance advice is "Bad feature, turn it off." but I have done some pretty exhaustive tuning of the core features.)
