   @m455 that drives me nuts! "API" does not mean "documentation"; they're not synonyms

   the correct way to shorten "API documentation" is "docs" not "API"

     gonna start a petition to change all instances of "API" or "reference" in programming documentation to "modules, functions, data types, and shit"
