@charliebrownau @CapitalB there's no doubt that the others are flawed and using existing infrastructure is a great idea.
I'm thinking the same can be applied for Notes applications for instance, can Joplin be sync-ed with an IMAP server ? It would be interesting to see a WebDav bridge to IMAP
I would like to see an 'app'/program
that looks like Discord
Yet uses
IRC and Mumble
Ive been using it for many months
I recommend the video I did explaining it all
Delta Chat is awesome
https://www.joshwhotv.com/v/.QDss2Q
Did you know Telegram CEO is on the board of WEF
Goyim will own nothing and be happy

Yes.
Financed by EU, no English WP
Weird. But I like the concept.
@charliebrownau Wait a minute, what do you mean it encrypts messages ? Does it support PGP out of the box ? Just secure connection to IMAP and SMTP I assume ...
@mcread Better solution is to stop using
Signal and Telegram
Use Delta Chat
No SMS
No Real name
Delta Chat encypts pop3/smtp emails
Has Linux or Windows 'app' and iOS and Android/apk support
Video - Delta Chat is awesomeness

Im pretty sure I came across an cli linux program for Mastodon
For mastodon it would also be interesting if it worked via emails for replies ... there's a killer app
Have you seen profanity XMMP https://profanity-im.github.io/
or
Dino IM
https://dino.im/
I dont mind if they make IRC look all modern and fancy
Just add a gui skin
to a protcol/standard
Dont ruin the existing underlying tech behind it thou
Why do so many people use ((( github))
Haven't looked into GO
Is it another corporation sponsored language ?
@TerminalAutism @CapitalB @mcread @ryo
GTK3
SubvertD
Dbus
Policykit
Avahi
Gnome 3
Pulseaudio
Its all been a slow continual centralisation and creep into the OSS/FOSS/Linux scene
@TerminalAutism @CapitalB @mcread @ryo
Ive been using Devuan, no subvertD with it https://www.devuan.org/
