@liztai@hachyderm.io You can complain about the sinophobia too? Imo, it's not oppression Olympics. And sometimes, it's a matter of being able to recognize some -isms better due to lived experience.

Anyway I wrote about my pov here - I think this pursuit for platform purity is a futile one, and will just never end. It irritates me to death as well. I am honestly fed up with this culture on the Internet.
@liztai Difference is Substack the company has been actively promoting them, specifically, and monetizing them, even as they downrank or remove other content. They make it clear they don't just tolerate it; they like that content just fine.
@geraineon basically every platform these days will have a wave of hysteria about some issue. The issue of this time is Nazis, but the very same people protesting Nazis are posting Sinophobic content. The hypocrisy of it all makes me sick. Also some just label writers or people Nazis if they don't toe a certain philosophical/cultural line. It's all madness and I am pretty sick of it.
