   can we please get to a point where the EU does something against "kernel-level anticheat" (read: malware)?

     like I refuse to put together an entire PC and buy a windows license only to facilitate malware-as-anticheat, which is apparently normalized in gaming communities. Y'all's PCs must be horribly slow with multiple rootkits stacked on top of eachother and likely trivial to hack into due to it.

     @SolSoCoG in this case for league it's a massive bandaid due to all the scripting and botting caused by the source code leaks. It was trivial to develop "hacks" and Riot failed to patch up their anticheat... I mean they also never managed to write a good client/launcher thing for this game, so I'm not surprised at all.
