Disease and hunger will be common, access to public education often controlled by churches, but hey, the stock market will be well over 100k!

The regular army will be used to police the streets in armed sweeps of urban centers at night. This part is not speculative fiction, though; I had already seen a version of this kind of dystopia, in San Paulo.
