     @Cosmic the boomers have already "aged". if they haven't bought a retirement home by now, they're probably not gonna. unless you're talking about nursing homes

     @Cosmic well its only been 6 days, so that's a pretty small sample. anyway, with mortgage rates as high as they currently are it isn't surprising, first time buyers are extremely low. that rules out nearly all Z's and most Y's

     This is actually a 2023 stat, which I assume continues into 2024 …

     Boomers are the ones with the money to buy a house.

     @Cosmic that's definitely true, they're probably paid off and upward or laterally mobile for cash, so they're likely the vast majority of current buyers. but I think it has very little to do with them suddenly buying everything, rather that nobody else is buying anything
