There will be a substantial chunk of internet history missing as services will go offline and there’s no proper way of archiving their contents.

I do have an archival link and the full album but still counts as a kind of lost section of the internet.

It’s already bad and as time goes on it’ll get progressively worse with one service after another running out of venture capitalists to exploit and customers to violate.
We’re on the verge of the digital library of Alexandria burning down, and there’s no proper backup.
