   The right is using asymmetrical shame warfare against the left. Trump has taught Republicans to never be ashamed of anything they’ve done, no matter how heinous or indefensible their actions. Democrats, OTOH, still have consciences. So Republicans can hound somebody like Claudine Gay out of her job, knowing that the same attack will not work against their own. They will repeat this playbook as long as it keeps working.

     Except, it wasn't just Republicans who were after Ms. Gay.

     Let's not forget that the main trigger that launched the successful assault on her was her refusal to remove opponents/critics of Israel's genocidal actions in Gaza...and that was bipartisanly driven by Democrats as well as Republicans.

     Need I remind everyone that one of the biggest boosters of removing Ms. Gay from power was Bill Ackman, one of the money powers behind Democratic Members for Israel?

     And, he's said that he's not finished with his crusade against liberals in charge of Ivy League colleges?
