     This is very true.
     However, #Congress is not the only branch of government not acting in the US' interest--#Europe is one of the key allies and trading partners. However, #Biden only seems to make an exception for #Israel.
     The question is: why?

     After #Chechnya, #Georgia, #Crimea and now #Ukraine proper, there can hardly be an informed person alive that will argue that #Putler will stop at #NATO's borders...

     @HistoPol If you're looking at it from the ressource-grab perspective:
     - Get weakly defended medium gasfield of the coast of Gaza.
     - In two of the most heavily defended places on earth (Krim/Donbass) get huge oil and gasfields, plus huge agricultaral grounds.

     So obviously the short term choice is Gaza.

     Hers a scenario that keeps me up at night. Your GOP party allows Putin to take Ukraine. What stops him from testing the NATO resolve (assuming your brainwashed citizens don’t put trump in office so there is still a NATO) by taking over Canada and setting up a military post along your northern border. I know preposterous you say-as a Canadian it crosses my mind from time to time.
