I mean wouldn't be working towards reconstructing your identity back to its default singular state be the preferable option? Doesn't dealing with multiple personalities constantly take its mental toll? -

I mean I don't see how merging your identity back into one is a bad thing. That's understandable though. It's like they aren't full fledged people but different manifestations of you, the actual person. I'm just curious cuz it's not a perspective you see espoused in the mainstream.
