    #DemFundraiser
🧵 For the 2020 election cycle, I had raised just over $120,000 for Dems up & down the ballot as of New Year's Eve 2023.

For the 2024 election cycle, as of this moment I've raised over $210,000 for Dems up & down the ballot.

Can we hit $220,000 by midnight? Let's find out! 1/

      5. Since the filing deadline has only passed in a few states so far & no primaries have happened yet, most spots are still "TBD."

For federal races, you can donate to *whomever* ends up the eventual Dem nominee. For state races I've included state Dem parties/etc for now.

      First, a few reminders:

      1. By default, donations are split evenly across each candidate/fund listed...but you don't have to donate to all of them; you can pick & choose via the "customize amounts" tool.

      2. Hate getting spam from the campaigns? All of my ActBlue pages include a tool to opt out of sharing your email address during the checkout process.

      3. I DON'T HAVE A PAC; ALL DONATIONS GO TO THE CAMPAIGNS/FUNDS LISTED. I RECEIVE NOTHING.

      4. I generally only list competitive / potentially competitive seats for *legislative* races but to list EVERY Republican-held seat, no matter how solid red, for statewide races (Senate, Gov, AG, SoS).

However, I also make sure to clearly label those as long shots.

Most people know WY is solid red, so if they choose to donate there I assume they have their reasons. On the other hand, it's *not* reasonable to assume most people know whether, say, MI's 54th state House district is competitive

In addition, at the legislative level there's just too damned many districts to include them all anyway--435 in the U.S. House plus over 7,000 state legislative seats.

I boil these down to the ~10% rated as competitive according to Cook Political Report & Dave's Redistricting, give or take.

Mississippi just had their legislative elections, which brings us to MISSOURI, where Republicans introduced a bill to CHARGE WOMEN WHO HAVE AN ABORTION WITH MURDER.

It was so extreme they pulled it when even their anti-choice GOP governor opposed it.
