   But no good access to fresh ingredients.
   As a former military brat, living overseas, if you don't have the ingredients, you are still stuck making mediocre food substituting and rationing rare spices.

     @jeffowski There are lots of genuine Mexicans cooking authentic Mexican food outside of those areas.
