   Since I'm on Transphobes today, I'll ask a question.

   So much of the time with famous transphobes, all they have to do to not come under scrutiny is just keep their stupid mouths shut, why can't they? What do they really think will happen? Why do they care so much about something that doesn't actually affect them at all?

     Hi Alex,

     "Transgenderism" doesn't exist. The suffix "-ism" is given to groups of people who have coalesced around a set of core ideological ideas.

     There is no such "core ideology" in the case of trans people. The things that group us together are the twin facts:
     1. We are trans.
     2. We exist.

     "Transgenderism" is a slur invented by transphobes in an attempt to negate one or both of those facts by reframing it as if it is a mere opinion worthy of debate.

     @RickiTarr that is something that has legitimately been in the forefront of my mind for so many years. To me, it seems pretty atypical to sit around and focus on the physicality of transgenderism. I'm not trans. I understand that trans people exist and I do my best to understand them and help them. But I use them as the level of expert.

     So many cishet white dudes spend so much time trying to govern things they claim not to be. It doesn't make sense.
