starkrg@myside-yourside.net's status on Thursday, 28-Dec-2023 10:10:59 JST StarkRG @thomasfuchs from everymac: "The Macintosh (128k) was the first relatively inexpensive computer to use a graphical user interface, 3.5" disks, a consistent look-and-feel among applications, and true WYSIWYG printing, all of which are taken for granted today."
That "relatively" is doing a lot of heavy lifting. The original $2,495 retail price is worth about $7,518 today.
