@All_bonesJones @ageha @coolboymew implying you hate the handicapped is definitely a dirty tactic. what about real accessibility issues, like allowing button-remapping and custom third-party controllers for consoles? silence.

@Moon @All_bonesJones @coolboymew @ageha i was pleased that metroid prime remastered added a colorblind mode because i imagine trying to play the game with colorblindness would be painful

@Vidmastereon @All_bonesJones @coolboymew @ageha I harped on this for years and nobody listened. starting with like the xbox, consoles locked down third party peripherals effectively telling handicapped gamers to get lost. game approval standards required that you not be able to remap buttons for consistency reasons, again a very veruy minor inconvenience for abled players was used as an excuse to lock out disabled gamers. it was like this for years, barely saw any noise made about it by the press.

@Vidmastereon @All_bonesJones @ageha @coolboymew tons of accessibility issues with games. not being able to change the font or font color on HUDs for example.

@Moon @All_bonesJones @coolboymew @ageha @Vidmastereon Dun fact: I am effectively locked out from playing my preferred genres on console because it doesn't support the input device that I am most comfortable with! This wouldn't be a huge deal in itself except many devs exclusively target console at the expense of PC. So what do I do, deny myself my favorite titles and stay legal, or life of a pirate for me and emulate the original arcade versions? I think the choice is obvious to everyone in here.
