     I was blocked yesterday by someone who is normally rather intelligent for exactly this discussion. Their vaccines, their masks and their lockdowns are a religion. Not worshiping those makes them furious.

     @Alphakilopapa @SAUNDERS @gvs I already had a conversation with "a member of the scientific community" (one of the persons who threatened me) and I directly called him "An educated retard who spent years educating himself to be this much of a retard", I think I said to him it takes academic dedication to reach his level of retardedness or something along these lines. That man was my friend and it costed me greatly both morally and economically, I don't regret it, it had to be done.
     
     Obviously we did not speak again, and I hope I won't have to do so in the future either.
     
     I don't care if I am called an idiot, I've proved to myself and my family that I can make my own informed decisions before and this time it wasn't any different. Contrary to what they will make you believe you can learn about anything you put your mind to, all they do is gatekeep, 99% of so called experts are the least able to see the forest for the trees.

     @gvs @Alphakilopapa @SAUNDERS I got blocked in real life, the bastards I used to call friends were talking about forcing me or my family to get vaccinated or putting us in jail because "I rejected their miracle science", they branded me a crazy redneck because I wanted to exercise caution on what at the time I deemed an "experimental treatment" for what seemed just a mild flu with 98.89% survival over 60 years old considering I had "the Covid" already before the vaccines came out.
     
     I've never been a bitter person before this, and the whole affair made me permanently hurt to the point where while I do not want anything bad happening to the people who I once called friends, I won't care if they get what they deserve.
     
     This "Covid'n'Science" thing opened my eyes greatly.

     @Alphakilopapa @SAUNDERS @gvs His wife, his wife saddened me tons, because she reached out and confessed she was experiencing "weird stuff" since she took the vaccine. I was still very upset and bitter, my answer was: "Ask your husband the expert scientist, I'm a redneck remember?" Last I heard she's OK, apparently she refused boosters from what I've heard, she knew something wasn't right.

     @PalePimp @Alphakilopapa @gvs it's impossible to know the long term effects exactly because it's a novel virus. We've never seen it before.

     I don't understand how these people fail to grasp that fact.

     Certainly we don't know the long term effects of the vaccine, either.

     Maybe the vaccine is great, and I'm very sorry to hear about your family, but maybe it's better to roll your dice with the virus itself.

     The certainty is alarming because it's most unscientific.

     @SAUNDERS @Alphakilopapa @gvs I'm not going to claim viruses do not exist, pathogens certainly do, but my take is we (mankind) knows shit about it and how contagion works.
     
     One thing I'm 100% sure is that contagion occurs in pockets, never exponentially doesn't matter what the illness is. It has happened all through history even the black death worked like this.
     
     So basically no, pandemics don't work like we've been told to, there is no "Contagion, the movie", there never has been.
