   Relatedly, for knitting, there is ravelry.com which has both free and paid patterns!

   Also for knitting is All Yarns Are Beautiful, an open source arduino based controller replacement for Brother KH-* knitting machine controllers from the 80s.

     The topic of fashion within solarpunk came up.

     It got me thinking. I enjoy studying fashion and looking at what others create but I hate the idea of gatekept fashion and fast fashion.

     The library makerspace has a sewing machine, an embroidery machine, and a serger.

     I was sent this podcast on free and open source "soft wear" (meaning clothes patterns): https://fossandcrafts.org/episodes/055-free-soft-wear.html

     I wonder, is there a Thingiverse for sewing patterns?
