It's unfortunate Trump didn't win last election because we'd be a year away from never having to talk about him again.

@Shadowbroker2135 Was talking about this with a tired transcendent griller (post-grill let it burn young gen X fellow) and he said it better than I could.
>I don't give a damn about Trump even though I'd have preferred him to Biden and voted for him. I almost don't want him to win because we'd have four more years of insufferable BS from everyone.

@BowsacNoodle The way my dad recalls the Trump years you'd think the highways had been paved in gold and all immigration had been stopped.

@Shadowbroker2135 @BowsacNoodle You ask my mom what great things trump did and it's basically "Zionism and supreme Court justices".
She has a small point , if the supreme Court is ever seven Jumanji brown Jacksons, we're all going to jail, but the boomers have basically bought the idea that "trump was foiled by the Dems, we'll get em next time". It's the sportsification of the two party system.

@Shadowbroker2135 @Robert_Edwardly Orangeman tried to end China post abuse of our USPS shipping system, the one that lets wish and AliExpress send you stuff for free shipping and crazy low prices. BIPARTISAN support to nullify this, even though it isn't a terrif and is instead abuse of a system by a foreign power screwing over our economy. He tried to do some reasonable things and every single time he was opposed. If anything, Trump is proof that there's no saving this system without some real bad crisis and willingness to address things that make people squirm.
