@djsumdog@Kerosene this is extremely within my interests :blobcatwhatsthis: especially if he used analogue switches so it can read pressure & aftertouch.
(although i have a linnstrument now but uh. hex keys are still neat.)
@djsumdog@Kerosene wooting has analogue switches, razor has one with optical switches, and void switches are done with magnets, hall sensors and multiplexers. It's more than possible to do an analogue keeb.
It still won't be quite as good as a Linn because it doesn't have XY tracking for bends and warps but still potentially quite expressive.
I don't think it does. The betas are already sold out, but on the page it states the board uses "51 custom designed, hexagonal ABS keys using Kailh Choc low-profile switches".
It looks like a standard keyboard matrix with just on/off for each switch:
...can you do variable voltage/resistance on a standard keyboard row/column matrix design, or do you need an individual sensors for each switch? (and I guess you'd need switches that are little potentiometers?)
