   @thomasfuchs My guess is, almost everyone, including of those who signed these letters. Sunk costs and other rationalizations are powerful motivators to look the other way.

   It was always clear what Substack stood for -- it's why I've never set up shop there.The time to protest Substack's alt-right/Nazi friendliness was when it started, by not joining.

     @thomasfuchs if it’s a financial burden to move, I can maybe understand, but beyond that, I’ll just assume if you’re staying, you tacitly support being in the Nazi bar.

     @thomasfuchs I think some of these people recently left Medium because it was going to train AI with their work, now they have to move again. I’m not saying they shouldn’t, I’m just saying I understand why they might not be doing it immediately.

     Maybe give them a little grace to get through the holidays before they go through it again if you think they’re worth it.
