     @deavmi @mark22k server wide blocklists is the source for #fedidrama. We provide users with the tools to make decisions for them, yet decide for them. That's why small communities and single uses instances are much better. You have all the control.

     You're happy to migrate to this host, we are blocked on a few hosts but not many. Most famously blocked by mastodon.art for made up ever changing reasons

     @deavmi Well, depending on the scale of the whole thing on the instance, I can understand the decision (is it just an opinion or does it become offensive...).
     However, one of the advantages of Mastodon / Fediverse is that you can move and take your account with you.
     Moreover, Pixelfed itself seems to have not only suspended, but also blocked the instance altogether.

     @deavmi @martijn I understand that when it comes to your own pc this is bad practice, but as what I understand is that when you have multiple peers you might act as a bridge between these and improve overall connectivity, which i aim for as public peer.
