     The computers had Windows 11. They had to wait for it to update, so 12 hours later they rebooted, turned off tpm, deleted the boot keys, installed Linux, and now they're updating and downloading ever package on the repos.

     The only half way usable mobile interface and OS is PostmarketOS + Phosh, I don't recommend anything else. GNOME mobile was designed by retarded faggots. It's sooo awful. KDE Plasma mobile was the same a couple years back, I've heard it's gotten better but I still got PTSD from using that beta software holy shit. There's also a mobile tiling window manager called sxmo, but it's too much autism, only skeevy slackware sysadmins use it @dcc

     Reception is fine, everything works including SMS/MMS. The only annoying issue is that because the battery like sucks, you have to set the system to go into a suspend state that can still be woken up by calls and texts. However sometime the modem just doesn't wake back up and I have to run a script to restart it. Also the possibility of missing calls in the suspend state is like 30%, it's not full proof. But I use an open source modem firmware that will send me missed texts once I reconnect to the network.
     
     Plus the device is slow, connecting the cellular internet at boot is slow as fuck, and they fucked up by not putting a RT clock in this device with a watch battery. Sometimes it's like 7-8 minutes before it syncs with network time after boot, it's retarded.
