   @shoq You know as much as I do that Meta/FB isn't going to fully embrace Fedi as they'll likely overwhelm it as much as they possibly can and kill it from within. They give a you know what about the open web and it's a chance in their eyes to completely cement their dominance on the social web (hate to say it but I hope that I'm wrong).

     Threads and the Fediverse have a lot of potential, but if it just overwhelms the fedi with the same performative dreck that ruined Twitter (as many hear feared), it’s just going to be another missed opportunity for humanity.
