     I think it confused a lot of people (then and now) because it looks like it’s going to be a rom-com (Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan! Come on!) and they are just super not ready for a surreal parable about the nature of the self in society or whatever the heck it is

     @inthehands @Adam_Cadmon1 I saw Volcano when it came out, and I thought it was okay; it wasn’t till I rewatched it years later (as more of an adult) that I appreciated the layers.

     @Adam_Cadmon1 @Cyrus Hope you enjoy! It’s definitely the sort of movie where one day you’ll just think it’s nonsense and wonder why anyone made it, and then another day all of a sudden you’ll be on its wavelength and it seems like the greatest thing ever.
