@Suiseiseki @kaia agree but if you've got a pretty advanced FOSS project that uses some js framework for framework you'd need to hold back the development of everything else if you were to rewrite it to use minimum to no js. I was foolish to choose svelte for librate frontend instead of some frugal js for optional QoL features or stuff that is hard to and make secure do with plain HTML + CSS but were I to rewrite the frontend, instead of having the first public instance launched within like next couple of days, I'd probably spend most of this winter rewriting frontend with no noticeable improvements and new features.
