@herop @thomasfuchs As someone who gets threatened by Nazis, no. Nope. I don’t feel sorry for those people and nobody should feel sorry for those people. I don’t care “what’s in their heart” or whatever that makes them motivated to harm me and other folks.

I have a different take on why Nazis are Nazis than Thomas, but the why is immaterial: To be a Nazi is absolutely a choice and it is one where they expect to benefit at the cost of others whom they view as less human. All you can do is change that calculus.

I am surprised that somehow hatred is rationalized as part of normal political discourse. Maybe there is some secret knowledge for center and media...naah, can't think of any.
