@thomasfuchs surely you don't mean iOS. It may have an open source lineage, and some bits are still open, but it can't be reasonably qualified as "open source".

AOSP is enough open source that GrapheneOS and Lineage can exist, unlike iOS. And with GrapheneOS, I can get my content to and from my Linux Mint #FrameworkLaptop, which is what finally drove me off iPhones.
