   I dunno what to tell you here, but I'll care when he's not running for president backed by a 6-3 fascist high majority in SCOTUS.

   You have too much faith in the very same system that PRODUCED all these fascists; and it just might be the death of us all.

     If you sincerely think there's a reality where 2 of: Corruption Thomas, Sammy Alito, Amy Fundie Barrett, Neil Goering and the Beer Man agree with you that A) January 6th was an insurrection (it was) and B) Trump is disqualified from running for president, you are a FAR more optimistic person than I am.

     And if I'm right, every other court can rule however they fucking like and it doesn't mean shit.

     Honestly my money is on them just refusing to hear the case.

     Colorado was never going to be a winning situation for him. If SCOTUS doesn't hear the case, it won't apply nationally, and until it's brought up in another court, it's in legal limbo. Other districts can agree with it, or disagree with it, but they don't have to obey it- whereas if there is an official ruling that's it.

     As for justices, I think two of those are possibles, but I wouldn't bet on it.

     I do think that the SCOTUS is more likely to take a walk on this challenge just to avoid making a decision that would be effective nationwide. Colorado is small beans; now, if states like Michigan and Ohio decide to render a challenge, then it gets interesting because there will be huge pressure on the SCOTUS to act.

     Personally, though? My impression is that Democrats don't GAF about Trumpster 's qualification to run. They need him in to scare the Left into submission.
