   @m455 @mauve I would argue that nowadays, it's *more* common for new lisps to target an existing runtime than to build an entire runtime out from scratch

   that doesn't always mean source->source compilers, but it typically does mean bidirectional interop

     Are there any #lisp flavors that aim to transpile to other programming languages? Seems like it'd be handy to have a way to make libraries than can be reused in other langs. Lisp just seems like a simple enough set of syntax for transpiling.
