   @ryanhoulihan yes, absolutely. we have no direct knowledge of this, but we also have no doubt of it. their bottom line is directly tied to how much of a pain in the ass they can be.

     @ryanhoulihan A had this conversation with an insurance company last year:

     Them: "If you could fax us that form back, that'd be greaaaat."

     "I'm sorry, I can't do that from where I am right now."

     "Where are you?"

     "2023."

     @ryanhoulihan I know it is (should be) a dead technology but considering it’s just sounds over a phone call, it would be nice if cell phones had the ability to send and receive them built-in. Just so you don’t have to resort to a shady third-party service or go to Kinkos for those odd occasions where you have to deal with a fax.

     @ryanhoulihan insurance companies and banks - i don’t believe it is to be difficult- more about not embracing those new computer systems - they might not be safe.

     @ryanhoulihan for the last time I had to call my bank ETrade about moving my money - they sent a message it was done. But evidence suggested it was not. Response was oh maybe tomorrow. The ponies must have need some hay. Last two or three year for every major financial action ( buy a truck, buy a home, etc) I’ve had to call them to move my money. DONE with ETrade!
     Moving to SoFi.
