   @kimlockhartga his family having been deported to Gaza after the stable they were staying in was bulldozed in Bethlehem, his family would have been stopped at the Rafah border crossing for being Palestinian.

     How people would respond if Jesus were born in modern times:

     "They illegally fled to Egypt. They should have waited for legal asylum. I don't care if they were escaping violence in their country. Egypt should separate the family to discourage other refugees from coming."
