While I did initially sign the #fediPact, I have since changed my mind*.
Users will have the ability to block instances (domain blocks) in the next version, and I think this will provide the best solution for both sides.

  Pixelfed does not display text-only posts in timelines, regardless of who we block, P92 posts won't be seen in Pixelfed feeds. Furthermore, instead of an outright ban, pixelfed.social/art will silence P92, allowing users to opt to follow P92 accounts, or use a domain block to make that choice themselves. I hope this clears up any confusion.

  Thank you for the clarification. I appreciate your thoughtfulness about this and your willingness to change your mind. I am not on one side or the other about all this. I feel like Activity Pub has created enough safeguards that if Threads gets too out of hand, they can easily be isolated.

  That's just for pixelfed.social, right? So any other server would still be able to have a different policy
