    LOL.

    The interesting thing about watching a slow and deliberate justice system is realizing that you are watching a slow and deliberate justice system in its final stages of being slow and deliberate before it goes away forever because it is just slow and deliberate.

    My bet is there are ZERO trials before the election. America sure as heck has to figure out if it wants to be that shining light on the hill anymore. Odds are it won't.

    Here in Canada, we're going to have to figure out what it means when our southern neighbors go full-on dictatorship. Should be weird.

      @mjf_pro I know that was fast. But she's also just said March is in jeopardy. The cynics in us just see this drawing out into forever.

      @jimcarroll Jim, SCOTUS already requested briefs on this next week. Not next *term*, next *week*. That is not “slow”.

      @mjf_pro I'm in. But you probably want to move to Canada anyway, so not a fair bet. (-;

      Also, regarding cynicism, you should see my mood when it comes to the GFS, NAO, El Nno patterns and such. The guy at WeatherMadness threw in the towel today in his long-range, admitting he just doesn't understand what all the models are saying anymore. We ski north of here, and so weather cynicism is at an all-time high.

      @jimcarroll “March is in jeopardy” = Judge C. saying in subtext: “SCOTUS, if you don’t want President Trump to fire all of you on January 20, 2025, you need to put the grease on this, please.”

      Would you take a gentleman’s bet that this is back on track before New Year’s Day? If you win, I will plead extreme embarrassment and will start planning my move to Canada (not kidding). But if I win, you park the cynicism. Deal? 🤝

      @jimcarroll @mjf_pro Weather forecasting is so pre-2023.
