   so far you could say threads is winning by the number of times they've mentioned it but i have yet to see proof of either actually federating beyond "hey guys we're working on/testing it"

     @allison @tomo FWIW, they don't even have webfinger yet, it just opens up the frontend.

     I also grepped it in peerlists of mastosoc and fosstodon and got zero results.
