Neither of these are required; I'm just trying to figure out how to tell when these tests start.

I've been probing to see if I can discover what #ActivityPub support Threads has available. If you find something, please let me know. I'm interested in testing this.

@FinchHaven I'm mostly interested in a technical discussion with other people involved directly with #ActivityPub, thanks.

All I've seen is that Zuck's link still demands I download the app and log in before I can do anything
So what's changed since the day that countdown clock page rolled over?
I can still view any Threads page I have the URL for in a web browser tab
So what's new, other than the latest PR monsoon?

@evan Buckle up is certainly one way of putting it.

@peteorrall I think at least Mastodon allows personal domain filtering. If you don't want to see threads.net in any of your feeds, you don't have to.

@evan I am not on Threads and have mixed feelings about this:
On one hand, Zuck has recognized the significance of ActivityPub and Mastodon, and is seizing that opportunity. Smart move.
On the other hand, there may be more noise here on Mastodon. Zuck may be optimistic but I am certainly cautious.
