   @alpacaherder Even when it's right, it's still wrong. I bought a "turbospoke" for a grandchild's bike. For a while afterward, ads for children's bicycles appeared on every site.
   
   But why would I buy a motorcycle sound accessory for his bike if he didn't already have the bicycle?

     I know this is a strange hypothetical but what if the ad targeting is wrong? What if it identifies you in a totally wrong fashion? I've been getting Spanish-language ads and ads for things in Texas even though there are no Spanish speakers in my home and I am in northeast Ohio literally in a northern border county bordering Canada. https://themarkup.org/privacy/2023/12/12/your-smart-tv-knows-what-youre-watching
