   Does being on a different instance affect the recommendations you see? I see a lot of recommendations (on the Explore page) for US based users and topics. 99% of the news I see is specific to the US.

   If I moved to mastodon.ie would that change anything at all?

     @governorkeagan It does appear to be mostly US based which is a shame, but I'm honestly not sure how that is managed or curated.
