@thanius Best of luck, I had it a few years ago and to my amazement the exercise did work - the version that I used was rather less vigorous though... it was on an advice sheet I downloaded from a UK hospital service - too long ago for me to recall now, sorry.

Scariest bit was when it first 'struck' - woke up, got out of bed (sounding like a Beatles song now 😂) and whoah!! Massive vertigo, room kept moving etc. I must admit I was seriously worried and thinking "Oh shit!"Bit of net research and reading gave some hope and I really was amazed that the simple exercise fixed it. That was a few years ago and so far not a sign of it since.

It really is extremely unpleasant and of course in the back of your mind you can't help thinking "What if this doesn't go away...!?"Expect you have all the info but here's a link in case it has something new. I think it was the Epley maneuver I did, reading it now...

Some years ago my room was spinning around me after I woke up in the morning and I thought life is over. Turning of head startet this. Doctor found nothing, then the same effect again some month later. Now I do this ever two years I think, it worked.
