@davew What about Blue Sky? While threads is blocked here in Europe (by meta, I can read like and repost only) blue sky is pretty in fashion right now.

  What Twitter was doing for news was important.
  Now Facebook, with their Threads service, is poised to take that over, unopposed, no competition..
  It’s still possible to avoid that, to create a new social media news hub that’s not controlled by a huge tech company.
