     A great deal of it is being racist when hiring contractors and being patient when getting things fixed. It’s either that or learning how to fix it yourself. Pick your poison in that respect.

     Few quick tips on hiring contractors:

     • Hire White contractors you met through church.
     • Show preference for ones who subscribe to a more reserved denomination like Jehovah’s Witnesses, Amish, or Mormons. These people tend to have their shit together, mean business, and aren’t trying to rip you off. They treat being a drunk or a coomer as a serious embarrassment and this filters a lot of shitbags.
     • Do not go for meme denominations like any Mainline Protestantism or Catholicism, as they are corrupted, and people still in them were either born into them or joined because they started letting fags in. Being a drunk or a coomer is acceptable, and this attracts layabouts and thieves.
     • Be willing to wait. Instead of waiting for your leak to create a mold health hazard, do what you can to stymie it immediately and then get in line for someone to really fix it. They might take a couple months due to a backlog. Being willing to wait reduces the cost because if you have to go to the front of the line they WILL charge you triple what they normally do.
     • Be willing to pay. Good work costs more money than shit work. Even though you can limit costs by being willing to wait, you still have to pay
     • Just pay the fuck up. I know I’m putting this in there twice, but word gets out that you either don’t pay or give contractors a hard time about paying after they complete your job, you will never get a good contractor to work with you again. You think girl talk is bad, you don’t even know

     Evangelicals are usually solid. If you’re part of their church you’ll get preferential treatment. This guy and his family redid my bathroom, really blinged it out. Didn’t charge me too much and did great work. I mean, he charged, but it wasn’t ridiculous.
