     @squinky I cannot tell you how to feel, but if I were you I would try to focus on some positive aspects of the ordeal. Be proud that you are doing the right things for your colleagues.

     I wish I could say something more helpful, but if I knew something useful to say I would probably be some sort business guru.

     @samphillips it’s a Hail Mary. It will succeed or it will be my final task at this job. The bad news is that I may not know the outcome until January at the earliest, and might have to keep this up until then

     @samphillips I normally do but all of these meetings are defensive work for my team. We just had a layoff and have an impending reorganization coming up and I’m trying to make sure they are protected from having their jobs redefined by people who don’t understand what they do.

     It’s fucking exhausting though, physically and emotionally

     30 meetings in a week is a lot, right? That's my current normal and it seems like a lot.
