     @Rasp I have a friend who's made the argument that 1/0=0 but it very much gets into the realm of math philosophy. Yeah, properly it's undefined. If you end up needing to divide by zero, first ya gotta ask why you're doing that.

     @Rasp as a teacher myself i find this situation unsurprising, and would love to know the context. If it's a private school, they got their head so far up their own asses that they think they can say this and not lose a customer. If it's public, they're so immensely burnt out that all they tell you is word salad lol

     Not excusing anything of course. It's terrible.
