   @emilygorcenski I just finished reading your article, "Making God". I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and knowledge. Before reading it, I had trouble making sense of some of what I've read on AI, AGI, Longtermism, Altruism, and intellectualism. Now, the high level of fixation, praise, and passion makes more sense. And I feel validated and less crazy about my own discomfort with the hype. Thank you.
