   @yakkoj @vivithecanine @zorinlynx true story, when I worked at Cisco our team used Juniper routers exclusively :smugdog:
   
   management hated us. (also we were a security team who became Cisco through an acquisition)

     @vivithecanine @zorinlynx this grinds my gears

     Forever, when you bought a Cisco switch, it came with all ports you bought enabled. It came with software that you didn't have to enable license features on to get basic functionality.

     Then the ASR920 darkened my doorstep.

     Half the switch and ALL of its uplinks were paywalled. I had to PAY EXTRA to use fiber to even get the thing on the network.
